A:  If flying, you will fly into Denver International Airport where you will grab your rental car and drive 2.5 hours to our location in Buena Vista.  (33551 County Road 361, Buena Vista CO 81211).   We recommend coming in the day before your riding adventure in the early afternoon allowing enough time to make it to our shop/office for check in about 4:00 pm.  On your departure day, don’t book yourself an early flight out – remember the drive is 2.5 hours without inclement weather!

A:  You must be age 16 or older to ride at Burandt’s Backcountry Adventure.

Q:  What sleds are available for rent and can I bring my own sled?

A:  Yes, you can rent one of our Polaris Axys RMK 850s (155 or 163) or bring your own long track mountain sled. Don’t forget - if coming from out of state and bringing your own sled, a non-resident permit is required ($30.95).  We try to keep stock on hand and they are typically available at the Arctic Cat dealer in town or online at the Colorado State Parks site. https://parksstore.state.co.us/p-7-non-resident-snowmobile-permit.aspx
